Kale and Spinach Smoothie
When done right, a kale and spinach smoothie is not only healthy, but tastes great! The trick is what else to add. You don’t want to add sugar (like some national smoothie chain restaurants), you want to add other health fruits that sweeten it up while providing more nutrition. I’ve perfected this recipe so that it makes the perfect after-workout power drink! I use the Ninja Smoothie Blender, available on my Kitchen Tools page.

Kale and Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 cup Fresh Spinach packed
- 1 cup Fresh Kale packed
- 2/3 cups Frozen Strawberries
- 1/2 cup Frozen Mango
- 2/3 cup 2% Milk
- 1/2 Banana
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes, or until everything is smooth to your liking. Enjoy!*Makes a 22 oz smoothie
Notes
Once you taste it, you can adjust the ingredients to your liking. Some people prefer less banana, but I think it makes it nice and creamy.
